AWRY - The Forest is a pocket sized horror card game for 1 to 4 players created by James Ginn.

Everything has gone awry... I don’t know how to explain what happened... This was supposed to be a scientific expedition, but it turned into a nightmare. Last night something monstrous attacked us. We found Dolph hanging from the branches, mutilated beyond recognition. There was blood everywhere. It was a clear message...

Whatever did this was huge and ruthless. And that’s not all! Tech is useless here. Our GPS, radio, watches...none of them work. BUT weirder...even the map is wrong- it’s like the forest is alive and shifting around us.   We have to get out of here!

We ran with only the essentials. I’m writing this journal as a last resort, in case we don’t make it. Maybe someone will find it and learn from our mistakes.

If that's you, it means I’m gone and you are in mortal peril. Pay attention to every word. And may your God, luck and all the wisdom of the world be with you.
